The House of Staunton is proud to offer another masterpiece – The Savano Artisan Series Chessmen. These Chessmen feature a 4.4″ King with a 2.0″ Diameter base and are very heavily weighted.
The Chess pieces are hand carved by our master artisans and crafted out of the highest grade woods. The Chess pieces are heavily weighted with House of Staunton English Leather basepads on the King and luxurious billiard cloth base pads on the other Chess pieces, with a beautiful finish. As with all of our Chess sets, the Savano Series exemplifies a perfect combination of distinct beauty and functionality. It has been designed to withstand the rigors of practical play while maintaining an elegance which has become the hallmark of a House of Staunton chess set. THE CHESSBOARD
Crafted in Spain, the House of Staunton Superior Traditional Elm Burl / Bird’s Eye Maple wooden Chessboard features Elm Burl (dark) and Bird’s Eye Maple (light) squares with a Elm Burl frame. This veneered Chessboard is 0.5″ thick, has a satin finish and a beautiful moulded edge.
THE CHESSBOX
The House of Staunton Fitted Coffer provides the highest level of protection for your chessmen. Unlike traditional chess boxes, where the chess pieces are stacked on top of each other while not in use, the large Fitted Coffer provides each of the chess pieces their own individual storage compartment. It features brass quadrant hinges, two removable trays and a lock and key with tassel.

Before shipment, all ordered items will be thoroughly examined. Most orders are now shipped within 48 hrs. Delivery is expected to take between 3 and seven days.
Returns
Stock is dynamic, and cannot be fully controlled by us because of the involvement of multiple parties including the factory and our warehouse. This means that the actual stock could alter at any time. It's possible that the stocks could be depleted after your order has been processed.
The policy is for 30 days. Unfortunately, if 30 days have passed from the date you purchased the item, we will not be able to provide a refund or exchange.
The item must not be in use and must be in the original packaging. You must have the item in the original packaging.
