The House of Staunton is proud to offer the Preston Series Chess set. A full club-sized Chess set, it features a 4.4″ King with a 2.0″ diameter base. The Chess pieces are hand carved by our master artisans and crafted out of the highest grade woods. The Chess pieces are heavily weighted with luxurious billiard cloth base pads and a beautiful finish.
As with all of our Chess sets, the Preston Series exemplifies a perfect combination of distinct beauty and functionality. It has been designed to withstand the rigors of practical play while maintaining an elegance which has become the hallmark of a House of Staunton chess set. The design, quality and craftsmanship of this set is UNMATCHED by any set of Chessmen in its price range. Nothing even comes close!
The Chessmen are new and each set consists of 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, a standard that was introduced by The House of Staunton in 1993.
THE CHESSBOARD
Crafted in Spain, the House of Staunton Standard Traditional Greenwood / Bird’s Eye Maple Wooden Chessboard – Gloss Finish features Greenwood (dark) and Bird’s Eye Maple (light) squares with a Greenwood frame. This veneered Chessboard is 0.5″ thick and has a gloss finish.
THE CHESSBOX
The House of Staunton Premium Chess Box has been designed by the experts at the House of Staunton to perfectly hold your favorite chessmen, up to a 4.4” king height with additional queens. It features brass quadrant hinges, green billiard cloth lining, and a lock and key with tassel. The House of Staunton Logo has been laser engraved in the lid. This item can also be personalized for gift giving.

Note: Orders with more than one item will be assigned a separate processing time for each item.
Before shipment, all ordered items will be thoroughly examined. Most orders are now shipped within 48 hrs. Delivery is expected to take between 3 and seven days.
Returns
Stock is dynamic, and cannot be fully controlled by us because of the involvement of multiple parties including the factory and our warehouse. This means that the actual stock could alter at any time. It's possible that the stocks could be depleted after your order has been processed.
The policy is for 30 days. Unfortunately, if 30 days have passed from the date you purchased the item, we will not be able to provide a refund or exchange.
The item must not be in use and must be in the original packaging. You must have the item in the original packaging.
